  • al-Raqaim . This place is mentioned in the holy book of Qur'an. The legned of "Ahlul-Kahf" or the people of the cave comes in a Surah with the same name. It tells a story about a number of young men who took refuge in a cave place called (Al-Raqaim) near Sahab, after they fled their places of residence fearing the worse would come after embracing and converting to a new religion. After they slept in the cave for 309 years, God sent them awake and their cave was discovered by the people of the city who were believers after all that time.
