. As of 2003, the district had a population of 58,695 people. Sa'adah is a nice town. Now days Sa'adah is safe because the war has stopped. People in Sa'adah are kind to strangers, but AL-HOTHI (the man that started the wars in the town) made the town look bad to outsiders, and that was the reason visitors couldn't visit this town for a couple of years. Now days Sa'adah is more safe and visitors can go there. Sa'adah is famous in agriculture; they have good delicous fruit (oranges, grapes, apples, pomegranates) and vegetables (cucmber, tomato, potato, etc).
