Location and architectural design

It is located in the park of the Boris Garden in front of the Rector of Sofia Kliment Ohridski ".
Underpass, which is on the crossroad of "Tsar Liberator" and Vasil Levski Blvd is included in the unpaid portion of the metro station. The station was built on the original architectural designs of 80's of last century and the island platform was provided to take passengers from both Sofia University and adjacent residential areas, and incoming passengers from the Third metrodiametar because, according to initial plans, the station was to be provided to third metrodiametar node. The east vestibule, built in the park area, provides a link with the green areas and built by travolator and passenger transport unit Eagle Bridge. So metro became one of the most communicative and expected big passenger. The exit of subway passengers with a connection bus lines 9, 72, 75, 76, 84, 204, 284 and 604 passing in the busy Hristo Georgiev and Evlogi, and the trolley-bus lines 1, 2, 4 and 11 in Vasil Levski Blvd.
The station and its lobby are determined in light brown tones. Covered whit with granite tiles. The walls are lined with decorative tiles with interesting wavy pattern. Escalators and entrances have been built over bas-relief of St. Clement of Ohrid and decorative representation of the letters of the Cyrillic alphabet. Road ramp walls of the station are decorated in the same style as in their central part has a decorative mural depicting a stylized sun, whose rays are made of light gray marble tiles. Over the platform under the lights are ornamental transparent light blue reflector plates, similar to the metro station "Stadium" Vasil Levski ". In the middle of the platform has seats for the rest of the passengers, which is located to the decorative lanterns. At both ends of the platform exits are located, of which there are two escalators, stairs and lifts for persons and mothers with children.
The station is underground, with the island platform.
