The three sisters first performed as The Osborn Sisters. In 1989, they were signed to RCA Records

"I learned how we had been taken advantage of. We recorded a project for RCA that never got released. That album was missing something and it taught me a lesson. We did what we were told. We didn't stand up for ourselves because we were so young. We were told to do a song and we did it. There were only three of our songs on there."


They spent over five years working in department stores and playing night clubs. Kristyn attended classes at a local university to learn about the music business. Later on, the sisters began performing under the name SHeDAISY, derived from a Navajo

Only two singles were issued from the album: "Get Over Yourself" and "Mine All Mine", which peaked at numbers 27 and 28 on the country singles charts, respectively. The latter song was featured on the soundtrack of the 2002 film Sweet Home Alabama

SHeDAISY has recorded a fifth studio album, A Story to Tell, which was produced by Jann Arden. Previews of two new songs, "A 2 Me" and "Mr. McLennen", are available on their official website. The title of the album is derived from lyrics in "Mr. McLennen". On March 9, 2010, it was announced that SHeDAISY had left Lyric Street Records. The group performed all songs from A Story to Tell at an album showcase in Nashville on October 19, 2010.

Family and personal lives

The sisters are from a family of six children; four sisters and two brothers. Their other siblings are Clayton, Cade, and Karli. In 2006, when Kelsi was pregnant, the youngest Osborn sister Karli took her place for the Fortuneteller's Melody summer tour;
In July 2006, Kelsi, with her husband Steve Simpson, gave birth to twin girls, Savannah Marie and Adyson Amilia.

All three of the sisters are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
