In order to distinguish from other "Sagem" companies and to reflect the separation the name and logo was again changed into 'Sagemcom' in 2009. In the same year, Sagemcom took over the broadband business of Gigaset (former division of Siemens). The group deploys a Europe-wide network of subsidiaries (National Sales Organizations), distributing Sagemcom brand products in all major European countries.

Today Sagemcom operates on markets of broadband (digital home, digital set-top box, broadband and residential terminals), telecom and energy (M2M, telecommunications infrastructure, smartgrid and metering), and management of documents (printing terminals, software and solutions, digital production workflow).

The company is organized in three Business Groups: Sagemcom Documents, Sagemcom Broadband and Sagemcom Energy & Telecom.

Sagemcom Documents

The Documents Business Group provides solutions in the field of imaging and documents: analysis, management, printing, communication, filing, display. The business unit provides a multifold portfolio in areas such as consumer fax (inventor of the Phonefax) as well as professional faxes, printers, multifunction terminals, software solutions for document management and communication, and also imaging (one of the Europeans leaders in digital photoframes).
Its headquarters are in France, on Sagemcom Osny campus.

Sagemcom Broadband

  • The second part of the Broadband Group are solutions for residential terminals covering products like Modems, Routers, Gateways, eMTA, DECT- and corded phones as well as Home Telephony Tablets.

The company claims to be one of Europe's leading STB manufacturers for digital terrestrial and IPTV as well as residential Gateways. Its headquarters are in France on Sagemcom Rueil-Malmaison campus.

Sagemcom Energy & Telecom

This activity also relies on two axis:
  • Communication: with machine to machine (M2M) communications, convergence products, turn key solutions in telecom networks
  • Energy management, offerering optimized overall solutions for the grid. This activity also incorporates a unit for industrial partnerships, aiming at making available Sagemcom's competencies in research and development, industrialisation and manufacturing.

The combination of these activities addresses verticals in the domains of energy efficiency but also in smart house, building and cars were terminals or services are needed.
Its headquarters are in France on Sagemcom Rueil-Malmaison campus.
