S. D. S. Yadava

S. D. S. Yadava is an Indian army officer, retired in 1983 as a Major General, and author of the 2006 work Followers of Krishna: Yadavas of India.

Born to Captain Puran Singh (SB, OBI), Yadava studied at King Georges School in Ajmer before joining the Army in 1947. During his Army career, Yadava served a period in the 3rd Gorkha Rifles. Yadava was also wounded in the Battle of Dhalai
