Roberto Gaston Orci (born 1973 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican film and television producer and screenwriter. His credits include The Legend of Zorro, Mission: Impossible III, the 2007 Transformers feature film, and the upcoming 2009 Star Trek and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen feature film. He is also the creator alongside with J.J. Abrams and Alex Kurtzman of FOX hit TV show Fringe.
The Hollywood Reporter listed him as one of the 50 most powerful Latinos in Hollywood of 2007.

Early life
Orci is the older brother of J. R. Orci. He was raised in Canada, Texas, and Los Angeles, where he met his longtime friend and collaborator Alex Kurtzman. He attended The University of Texas at Austin.
