Drishti starts using her powers and begins to get visions of Natasha at a party. Natasha is flirting with many people, when suddenly Sunny accosts her. Natasha and Sunny get into a scuffle, whereupon Sunny injures her. Later, Drishti gets visions of a place where Natasha's body is being dumped.

The police officer in charge of this case, ACP Ranvir Singh (Rajat Bedi

), is skeptical of Drishti's gift and disapproving of the mayor's decision to involve her. Nevertheless, on the mayor's insistence, he takes a search party to a lake that matches Drishti's description. When the Natasha's body is found, the police officer is left speechless.

Based on the find and Drishti's visions about Sunny, he is arrested for Natasha's murder. Sunny's lawyer tries to discredit Drishti in the court but Sunny is found guilty and given a life sentence. Sunny claims that he did fight with Natasha but went home that night. For the ACP and the mayor, the case is closed.

Drishti, who knows that Sunny is innocent, starts investigating on her own. Meanwhile, Mohit is forcibly taken into a mental asylum. Drishti promises to meet him, if he behaves well. In an attempt to reconstruct the final moments, Drishti comes to the lake where the body was dumped.

She gets a vision of the crime where an unknown assailant is in front of Natasha, hiding a knife. Drishti gets a clue: She sees the criminal's watch. Drishti comes out of her vision, with Shekhar next to her. When she notices the same watch on Shekhar's wrist, she puts two and two together.

Drishti tries to escape on some pretext, but Shekhar realizes that she has stumbled upon his secret. He starts telling his story. He recounts that the mayor, who was his father's political protege, backstabbed his mentor owing to political ambitions. His father died a sorry man. Shekhar decided to become a politician using the mayor's power, then avenge his father's death.

So, he allowed the mayor to build trust in him, even to the extent that his marriage was fixed with Natasha. Shekhar was aware of Natasha's character. He knew that if her real character became public, his political career would be over even before it started. When Natasha and Sunny broke into the fight, Shekhar followed her and killed her.

After confessing the truth, Shekhar tells Drishti that she must die. Drishti pleads, but Shekhar inflicts blows on her. Just as he is about to kill her, Mohit comes out of nowhere and knocks Shekhar out. Drishti is happy and surprised to see Mohit. He tells her that he ran away from the asylum and is not going to return.

Mohit drives Drishti to police station. She asks him to come inside and tell the whole story, but he insists that he will stay in the car. In the police station, ACP Ranvir congratulates Drishti for single-handedly fighting a killer and bringing his unconscious body there. When Drishti tells the truth, Ranvir is skeptical. He drops a bombshell by telling her that Mohit committed suicide that afternoon.

Drishti thinks that this is a misunderstanding, but when she goes to fetch Mohit, his seat is empty, with nothing to prove that anybody sat on it. Morever, she sees the handkerchief, which he had given her, back in the car. Drishti accepts the fact. At the same time, Shekhar is gives his confession from a jail cell.

Some time after that incident, probably 1–2 years later, Drishti's parents introduce her to a potential partner. It is Manav, who has come back. The film ends, indicating that the duo probably married and lived a happy life.
