Classes are held on the West Campus, in Duncan McArthur Hall. Duncan McArthur Hall has three major facilities: a library, a resource centre for teachers, and a computing services area.

The Dean of the Faculty is Rosa Bruno-Jofré; the Associate Dean is Stephen Elliott.

The faculty offers undergraduate and graduate programs.

Undergraduate programs

  • Concurrent Education - a five-year program which allows students to earn two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts, Science or Music plus a Bachelor of Education
  • Consecutive Education - a one-year program designed for holders of a bachelor's degree
  • Technological Education - a one-year program designed for those professionals in varioustechnological streams wishing to become high school technology teachers. (B.Ed or DipEd)

Graduate programs

Programs are administered by the School of Graduate Studies and Research. Major fields of study include curriculum studies, cognitive studies and Cultural and Policy Studies. Both master's and doctoral programs are available.
  • Master of Education - two patterns: Pattern I (eight half-credit courses + a project) or Pattern II (six half-credit courses + a thesis)
  • Ph.D. - thesis-based
