Qubic (Q&U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology) is an international collaboration between France, Italy, U.K. and U.S.A., that results from the merging of the BRAIN and MBI collaborations. The Qubic instrument is based on bolometric interferometry, a novel technology that is a promising alternative to direct imaging. The collaboration plans to install a first module of the final instrument at the Antarctica Concordia Station
