Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth is the second album by the black metal

group Woods of Ypres
. It was recorded in 2004 in Ontario. Near the beginning of this recording, the most of the band decided not to
continue with Woods of Ypres. The guitar and bass tracks were almost
completely recorded however Connor Sharpe (bass) and Steve Jones (guitar) are not
properly credited for these performances in the album's booklet.
