The Purple Door Christian music festival is held annually each August. The festival was first held in 1996 at the Lancaster Mennonite High School in Lancaster, PA. As it grew, it moved to the fairgrounds in Lebanon, PA, then to a ski resort in Lewisberry, PA, where it draws about 4,000 people each year. Previous bands have included Blindside, Ghoti Hook, Fold Zandura, Relient K, Danielson Family, Supertones, Aaron Sprinkle,Paramore, Starflyer 59, Switchfoot, Denison Witmer, Derek Webb, Mute Math, Five Iron Frenzy, Sixpence None the Richer, Jars of Clay and P.O.D .
The festival is a member of the Christian Festival Association.

Trivia
- During the 1997 edition, the Supertones set was almost rained out, but the band came out after a severe thunderstorm and played an acoustic set for those that were staying overnight at the festival.
