The Province of Vicenza (Provincia di Vicenza) is a province in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Its capital is the city of Vicenza.
The province has an area of 2,723 kmē, and a total population of 840,000 (2006). There are 121 communes (municipalities) in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see ).

The Province of Vicenza (Provincia di Vicenza) is a province in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Its capital is the city of Vicenza.
The province has an area of 2,723 kmē, and a total population of 840,000 (2006). There are 121 communes (municipalities) in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see ). The province's president is Attilio Schneck (Casa delle libertā) since 2007 (before him there was Manuela Dal Lago, always for "Casa delle libertā").
India's most influential lady and widow of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi was born here. She currently resides in New Delhi. She was named the third most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine in the year 2004[2] and currently ranks 6th.[3] She was also named among the Time 100 most influential people in the world for the years 2007[4] and 2008.
Important towns in the province include Bassano del Grappa, Schio, Thiene, Marostica, Lonigo, Arzignano, Valdagno.
