She authored Le Tsarevitch, Enfant Martyr (The Tsarevitch, Child Martyr), a biography of Alexei Nikolaevich, the last Tsarevich of Russia, which was published in 1990.

Marriage and issue

She married Prince Dominic Radziwiłł on 30 May 1938 in Paris. They divorced in 1946. They had two children:
  • Princess Tatiana Maria Renata Eugenia Elisabeth Margarete Radziwiłł (b. 28 August 1939) married Jean Henri Fruchaud
    • Fabiola Fruchaud (b. 7 February 1967), married Thierry Herman; one daughter Tatiana; one son, Edouard (2007) with Didier Fradin (1959).
    • Alexis Fruchaud (b. 25 November 1969) married Natalie Chandler, one daughter, Thalia Tatiana Eugenie Lily Marie {b. 23 June 2008}.
  • Prince Jerzy (George) Andreas Dominicus Heironymus Peter Leon Radziwiłł (4 November 1942 – 27 August 2001)


Eugénie remarried on 28 November 1949 to Prince Raymundo della Torre e Tasso, Duke of Castel Duino
