The University of Hawaii website does not list their only victory as an official bowl game, but the College Football Data Warehouse website does. The Poi Bowl name was resurrected for one game on January 8, 1945 between a Navy team and an Army Air Force team. By that time, the Poi Bowl of the 1930's had already become the Pineapple Bowl. The Navy team won the game, 14–0.
