A Platinum Jubilee is a celebration held to mark an anniversary:
- 70th in Commonwealth Realms usage. For example, in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica and rest of the Commonwealth realms, in June 2022, the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II will take place, if she still holds the 16 thrones, in which case she would be 96 years old.
- 75th in South Asian usage. For instance, in Pakistan and India, a platinum jubilee film is one shown in cinemas for 75 weeks or more. The success measure for a 'super hit film' is minimum six months release on its main cinema.
