The Pittsburgh Tri-State is the U.S. region that is centered around the transportation, medical, academic, economic, media and federal resources based in Pittsburgh. This definition has also been adopted by many corporate regional offices in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and the state of West Virginia. It roughly covers areas of those three states including: eastern Ohio
