Summer

Paranaguá is one of Paraná's hottest cities in the summer. Temperatures close to 40°C (104°F) happen quite frequently from December to February.

Winter

The coolest month of the year is usually either July or September, with average highs of 21°C and lows of 12°C. Strong cold waves can get temperatures to dip below 5°C around twice a year, this tends to vary considerably from year to year though.
