Applications

It can broadcast TV programs stably and smoothly to broadband users. Compared to traditional streaming media, PPS adopts P2P-streaming technology and supports high-volume traffic; several hundred thousand users can watch a live stream at 300-500 Kbps using only one server with a 5-10 Mbps connection.

However, there is a downside. For those who share the same line with PPStream users under a low bandwidth internet connection, they will face the problem where the whole internet bandwidth will be used by the software, making internet surfing almost impossible.
