Old Orhei were found traces of different civilizations. It was located Geto-Dacian fortress (6th-1st centuries. BC. Oe.) Fort Golden Horde Shehri al-Jedid or Yangi-Shehri (second half of AD 14th century.) Orthodox monasteries (c 14th century.) And the Moldavian town Vechi (15th-17th centuries)
