The name is a reference to the city of El Paso, Texas, although the artwork on the label features outlines of the Saguaro cactus which is not found within at least 400 kilometers (250 miles) of El Paso or anywhere in Texas, instead being restricted to the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona and adjacent Mexico.
