Nick Jr. Latin America was originally a block on Nickelodeon Latin America, lasting from 2001 to 2007. Unlike the American version, Nick Jr's mascot was Cara instead of Face (Cara was Spanish for Face).In 2008, Nickelodeon declared a 24/7 channel for preschoolers in Spanish. It was called Nick Jr.
