History

The district was founded in the early 1900's. In the year 2000, the state-of-the-art Niagara Falls High School was built, retiring two aging high schools.

  • Gaskill Preparatory School- Opened 1921
  • LaSalle Preparatory School- Opened 1946

Primary schools

  • Cataract Elementary School- Opened 2007, in former place of Niagara Middle School
  • 79th Street Elementary School- Opened 1969
  • Harry F. Abate Elementary School- Opened 1972
  • Geraldine J. Mann Elementary- Opened 1966
  • Henry J. Kalfas Elementary School- Opened 1970
  • Maple Avenue Elementary School- Opened 1922
  • Hyde Park Elementary- Opened 1919
  • Niagara Street School- Opened 1919. The old Niagara Street School has been torn down. A new Niagara Street School has been built in the old school's place, and was opened in 2007.
