movement to establish a rival to the Zionist Organization. The NZO was created in 1935 when the ZO failed to accept the program proposed by Vladimir Jabotinsky. It was liquidated in 1946 when the followers of Jabotinsky decided to rejoin the ZO because of its acceptance of the Biltmore Program.
