New York State Route 125 (NY 125) is a 7.5 miles (12.07 km) long north–south state highway in Westchester County, New York
. The route begins in The Town of Mamaroneck
at U.S. Route 1 and ends within the city of White Plains at NY 22
.
The route was once proposed to be realigned to the Bronx – White Plains Expressway.
(just outside Larchmont Village
) at U.S. Route 1 as Weaver Street. The route heads north and travels along the border between the city of New Rochelle
and the village of Scarsdale
. NY 125 meets the Hutchinson River Parkway
by way of an interchange in this area. Near the end of Weaver Street the Heathcote Bypass splits off. The portion between the Mamaroneck town line and the junction with the Hutchinson River Parkway is county-maintained (designated but not signed as County Route 129).
In Scarsdale, it then follows Palmer Avenue and Secor Road heading into the city of White Plains
. In White Plains, the road becomes Old Mamaroneck Road. Old Mamaroneck Road is an unsigned county route with the designation County Route 26. Old Mamaroneck Road then merges onto Mamaroneck Avenue, with NY 125 ending at NY 22
(Post Road). This northernmost section is maintained by the city of White Plains.

History
NY 125 was first designated in the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York. Its original northern end was at the intersection with Mamaroneck Avenue, which was then NY 126. The NY 126 designation was removed ca. 1936, at which time NY 125 was extended north to NY 22New York State Route 22
