The population was distributed as follows: 29.4% 19 years of age or younger, 16.1% between 20 and 29, 24.0% between 30 and 44, 16.0% from 45 to 59, 3.6% from 60 to 64, and 10.8% 65 years of age or older. The population growth rate in 2001 was 0.6%.
