The northern part mainly consists of Railway colonies like European Colony (Vasant Vihar), Diesel Colony, Haper Colony, Loco Colony and Roza Colony and the southern part consists of residential areas like Galla Mandi,Eastern Bazar,Kasab Mohal,Western Bazar, New Mahal, Lot no. 2, Hanumanpur, Ravi Nagar and Kailashpuri and some railways colonies like Shashtri Colony, Manas nagar colony, kurhkala and R.P.F.
