Similar to the promo version (P12MUTE248) distributed to nightclub DJs to promote the album, the two-track record was credited to "V & A" (Vince and Andy), a technique occasionally used by record labels to obscure artists' identities so that disc jockeys who do not normally play Erasure music would not pass it over based solely on the Erasure name. The 12" was only available from the record label's own shop (Mute Bank) and specialist dance shops.
