 story. Puwal was discovered by ICP when he was hired to build the group its own studio, the Lotus Pod.

Previously, the group's recording sessions would take place at Mike E. Clark's Funhouse studio. During the process of building the new studio, it was revealed that Puwal was a noteworthy guitar player and producer. With their studio ties to Clark severed and a new producer available, ICP moved away from its producer of eight years and teamed up with Puwal.

After joining Psychopathic Records, Puwal started the label's rock group Zug Izland

. He is the guitar player, producer and writer on the group's first two albums. In 2005, Zug Izland left Psychopathic Records and Puwal left the group. Mike E. Clark has since returned as producer.
