Dr. Michael Yaremchuk is a craniofacial plastic surgeon practicing in Boston, Massachusetts. Chief of Craniofacial Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Harvard Medical School, his private practice currently resides at the renowned Boston Center. Dr. Yaremchuk has been recognized as a "Best Doctors in America" and "Who's Who in America." Boston Magazine also named him one of Boston's best plastic surgeons.

Craniofacial surgery

Tissue Engineering. Dr. Yaremchuk partakes in extensive tissue engineering research through his work at Massachusetts General Hospital. Tissue engineering involves the seeding of cells onto synthetic polymers to create three-dimensional structures, which can then be implanted to replace or augment a patient's damaged or missing parts.

Recognition

In addition to receiving recognition in "Best Doctors in America" and "Who's Who in America", he was an invited professor at the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Southern Africa's Annual Congress in 2002, and was an invited professor at the Mexican Association of Plastic Surgeons National Congress, and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting.

In 2008, Dr. Yaremchuk was the keynote lecturer at the Annual Meeting of the German Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Cologne, Germany and the Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Aestheic Plastic Surgery in Hirochima, Japan.

This year he will be the special guest speaker at the 29th annual meeting of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery in São Paulo, Brazil. He will also speak at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery meeting in Beijing, China.

Previously, he was the invited speaker at the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons annual meeting in Seoul. He was also a special guest speaker at the Buenos Aires Plastic Surgery President's Meeting – XIIth International Symposium of Plastic Surgery “XXI Century”.

He presented his techniques for periorbital and midface rejuvenation at the Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in Paris and at the 2006 Madrid International iConference on Plastic Surgery, and at the New York City Aging Face Conference.

In February 2004, he was the featured speaker at the Symposium on Facial Contouring and Rejuvenation at the Chang Gang Memorial Hospital, Keelung, Taiwan. Dr. Yaremchuk gave the featured lecture at the 30th Founding Anniversary Symposium of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Korea University in April 2004.
