During his tenure thus far, CUNY student performance on the State's Teacher Certification exams has risen sharply to over a 98% pass rate.

CUNY student enrollment is at the highest level in almost four decades and is expected to reach over 265,000 degree credit students and 260,000 adult and continuing education students in Fall 2010. In the last five years, CUNY students have won some of the most competitive awards in the nation, including five Harry S. Truman Foundation Scholarships, three Rhodes Scholarship
