for books and scribes. His stylized designs have influenced generations. From stained-glass-window designs to model paintings all over the world. Until the 13th century illuminated manuscripts had only been reproduced in the scriptoria of monasteries. Master Honoré was one of the first to bring illuminations out of these establishments. In 1295 Master Honoré designed the creation of the miniatures in the Prayer Book of Philip the Fair. His figures are larger and have a relief like modeling that seems more realistic.
