Governance
The Marten Falls First Nation elects their council members through the Act Electoral System for a two-year term, consisting of a chief and five councillors. The current chief is Elijah Moonias, whose term began on October 10, 2009, and will last until September 27, 2011. The five councillors are: Ambrose Achneepineskum, Paul Achneepineskum, Russel Achneepineskum, Grace Bottle, Linda Moonias and Tom Moonias.Council
