Mark O'Meley is an Australian professional rugby league
footballer for the European Super League
team, Hull, and previously of the Sydney Roosters
in the National Rugby League
(NRL) competition. He also previously played for the North Sydney Bears
, the ill fated Northern Eagles
and the Bulldogs. O'Meley's position of choice is at prop-forward. O'Meley played with the Northern Lakes Warriors (previously Munmorah Maulers) on the New South Wales' Central Coast.
O'Meley is a member of the Bulldogs' 2004 Premiership winning team in
their 16–13 win over the Sydney Roosters

O'Meley was first selected to represent New South Wales as a front-rower for game II
of the 2001 State of Origin
series. He has also represented in the 2002

In 2004, O'Meley was selected as an interchange player for the Australian Kangaroos in the 2004 Tri-Nation series

O'Meley is nicknamed the Ogre or "Shrek" for his shaved head and burly figure.
