In the summer of 2007, Altman added another film to his resume with the production of the adaptation of the best selling video game DOA: Dead or Alive

The film cost $30 million to produce which was done so by The Weinstein Company's Dimension Films.

In addition to theatrical films, Altman has worked on some television projects, including writing and producing Dead And Deader

He is also Chief Executive Officer for Maltman Entertainment where he manages and keeps track of all films and television series in production. He has plenty of experience doing so, he was previously the CEO for Mindfire Entertainment for ten years.

He currently resides with he wife Naomi in Los Angeles, California.

Altman has hosted numerous panels at San Diego Comic Con, including the humorous "Starship Smackdown" panel on the last day of the convention.
