 (Elefsina - Thiva). The area around Mandra has farmlands located near the boundary with Magoula. There are mountains including Pateras to the west and to the north. The municipal unit of Mándra has a land area of 205.770 km² and a population of 12,792 inhabitants. The municipal unit also includes the villages of Ágios Sotír (pop. 496), Néa Zoí (443), Palaiochóri (356), Diódia (174), Pournári (174), and several smaller settlements.

Economy

The industrial area of Elefsina lies to the south while residential buildings lies to the north. Prior to the 1970s, agriculture was the predominant industry in Mandra. Housing developments arrived in the 1970s.
