"Mambo!" had been released in Sweden as Helena's fourth Swedish single. The single became a big hit there reaching number five (#5) in the Swedish Singles Chart and spending much of its time in the top 10 while charting for twenty five weeks. It has sold more than 35,000 copies and certified gold. "Mambo!" was also on Svensktoppen

"Mambo!" was planned to be released in September 2006 but was delayed. Promos were released to clubs in September and the video was shown on The Box. The official date of Mambo UK release became 13 November, and it was released on iTunes UK on 6 November. It is peaked at number 16 on the Club Dance Charts in its first week, but only reached number 185 on The Official UK Singles Chart

At French Radio Atlantis, Mambo! was included in playlist the period from 20th of July to 16th of October It proved to be a success for Helena as it entered the National Airplay Top 100 and peaked at number 82 on 3 September 2006. The song charted in the chart for 4 weeks. It's remarkable that it was not released as a cd single and Helena did not visit France to promote it.

) site (The record company which released the single in the UK). An employee at AATW said that in order to make the top 40 AATW Download Charts a single needs about a 100 downloads a week. "Mambo!" was released on 13 November - well over 6 months ago and it has been in top 40 AATW download chart every week apart from one. AATW were also keen to release the song from May 2006 but were told by SonyBMG in Greece

that they wanted to release the song at the same time internationally. AATW pencilled a release date in every 3/4 weeks for "Mambo!". SonyBMG eventually told them they could release it around August-time. AATW created the remixes and promoted it as a club song although it was never promoted as a pop song. They also planned to get Helena some promotional spots in the UK over Christmas (as was originally announced by Helena herself). But AATW were not told by Helena's management that she was already performing at Iera Odos over the Christmas period. The video for "Mambo!" was only shown on 2 music channels (The Box and Bubble Hits) This means that AATW were not solely responsible for the song's failure (it reached just #185 in the chart) and the UK Top 200 Singles chart which includes downloads should have reported that "Mambo!" should have re-entered the charts at around #150 in around early March!

Music videos

The original video for "Mambo!" was released in Greece in February 2006. These video is filmed in Greeklish. In the video Helena is showing of her dancing skills throughout the video. The video has an office theme for most of the video and Helena enters the office and makes everyone in the building dance and have a good time. At the end of the video Helena and dancers dance together in a routine. The video of Helena has been well received in Greece and won 'most played video' in the 2006 MAD TV Music Awards. Throughout the video there are clips of coca cola.

In Sweden, the original video was used but in this video it was all English. In this video there are no Coca Cola adverts whereas in the Greeklish video filmed for Greece there are.

In May, due to Helena starting her international career, "Mambo!" got a new video filmed to be aimed at a more global audience. It took only a day to film on a small island in Greece. On the island there is a bar is in the center of the video with lots of people parting and dancing to "Mambo!" Towards the end of the video Helena is seen dancing in a night scene. In early June, this version of "Mambo!" premiered in France
