Mía Maestro (born June 19, 1978) is an Argentine actress.
Maestro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1978. Her mother was an economist and her father a businessman. At the age of 18 she moved to Berlin to be trained as a classical music vocalist. There she also learned the Brechtian acting technique as well as dance. At age 20 Maestro returned to Buenos Aires.
Maestro made her screen debut in Carlos Saura's Academy Award nominated film, Tango.
Maestro originally met with TV producer J. J. Abrams in relation to the show Lost.

Biography
Mía Maestro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1978. Her mother was an economist and her father a businessman. At the age of 18 she moved to Berlin to be trained as a classical music vocalist. There she also learned the Brechtian acting technique as well as dance. At age 20 Maestro returned to Buenos Aires.
Maestro made her screen debut in Carlos Saura's Academy Award nominated film, Tango.
Maestro originally met with TV producer J. J. Abrams in relation to the show Lost. She ended up getting the part of Nadia Santos in Season 4 of his other television show, the drama Alias. She then had a recurring role in the program's 5th season. In December 2005, she starred in Prince's music video for "Te Amo Corazón" which was directed by her friend Salma Hayek.
In 2001, she was ranked #61 in Stuff's 100 Sexiest Women. Also in 2001, she ranked #67 in Maxim's 100 Sexiest Women. On Maxim's hot 100 2007 list, Maestro came in at #99.
Maestro is joining the cast of Burn Notice and has also recently been seen on the set of NBC's new show Crusoe.
She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
Awards
She won an ACE Award for performance in the stage production of Pandora's Box.
