Mongello also manages a charitable group named the Dream Team Project. The Dream Team Project is designed for the purpose of raising money to grant the wishes children with serious illnesses to visit Walt Disney World. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of all merchandise sold on WDWRadio.com, as well as personal donations made by Lou Mongello from sales of the Walt Disney World Trivia Books, donations from WDWRadio.com “Family Members” and friends, and the proceeds of special fundraising events run by The Dream Team Project are all used to help make the life of a child a bit brighter during a difficult time for them and their family.
As of December 31, 2010 the Dream Team Project has raised over $80,000.
