Lords Point is a small private community in the scenic town of Stonington, Connecticut
. Established in 1909, Lord's Point has over 200 houses and summer cottages, with an average summer population of about 800 people.
There are 6 beaches in Lord's Point; Open Way, Tim's Beach, Boulder Beach, Hopkins Beach, Pebble Beach, and Tressel Beach, and also 2 docks; Boulder and Langworthy. These are not open to the public but are limited to Lord's Point residents and guests only.
Facilities include a basketball court, a bocce
area, a tennis court, a soccer field, and a Clubhouse, best known as the "Community House", which holds rentals for parties, Bingo nights in the summer, teen parties, art programs, an annual Talent Show, morning athletic classes, and more.
