In the Kuje Bay a limestone capital dating from the middle of the 15th century was found, as well as an early Christian lamp with the figure of Jesus Christ - Good Shepherd, bricks with workshop marks, and remains of the walls of an antique building.

Ližnjan has a football team named Liznjan. They came first in the 2 league and now they are fighting for progress.
