British Leeward Islands
The British Leeward Islands was a British colony existing between 1833 and 1960, and consisting of Antigua, Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla and Dominica....

from the creation of the colony in 1671 until the Federation of the West Indies was formed in 1958. The Leewards Islands colony was dissolved in 1816, but reformed in 1833. Between 1833 and 1871, the Governor of Antigua performed the duties of viceroy in the Leeward Islands.
