Liquid metal may refer to
- One of the five metallic elements liquid at or near room temperature, namely:
- mercury (melting point -39 °C, -38 °F),
- francium (27 °C, 81 °F),
- caesium (28 °C, 83 °F),
- gallium (30 °C, 86 °F), and
- rubidium (39 °C, 102 °F).
- One other element, bromine, is also liquid at room temperature (-7.2?°C, 19?°F) but is not a metal.
- The substance liquidmetal, a versatile amorphous metal alloy developed at Caltech.
