Liaquat Pur is an agricultural city and the largest market of gurh(alternate of sugar) in Asia. Gurh is exported to all Asian Countries. Most of its inhabitants earn from their crops. Here is a list notable economy role players in this tehsil.

It has a medium level Bus Station in its heart and its Railway station is situated on the main rail line of Pakistan. There is no airport in Liaquat Pur yet but its stadium has been several times used as a helipad.
