Lane Clark & Peacock (or LCP) is a firm of financial, actuarial and business consultants, specialising in the area of pensions, investment, insurance and business analytics.

The LCP group has over 500 staff and 92 partners and principals across offices in London and Winchester in the UK and Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland in Europe.

History

1947 - Ralph Lane founded the business;

1962 - LCP became a partnership;

1992 - LCP established Winchester office;

2002 - LCP became a Limited Liability Partnership and part of the Alexander Forbes Group;

2004 - LCP was the first actuarial firm to establish separate trustee and corporate consulting practices; LCP acquired major offices in Belgium and Switzerland; and

2008 - LCP established sizable offices in Ireland and The Netherlands

Services

Pensions - LCP advises pension plan trustees and corporate sponsors on complex UK and international pensions issues.

Insurance - LCP provides actuarial and consulting advice to insurance clients including Lloyd’s managing agents, insurance companies, captives, medical indemnity societies, local authorities, government bodies, brokers and auditors.

Investment - LCP provides investment advice to trustees and sponsors of pension plans.

Business Analytics - LCP provides advice based on complex analysis to help clients gain a competitive advantage.

LCP is a founding member of the Multinational Group of Actuaries and Consultants (MGAC).

LCP is regulated by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in respect of a range of investment business activities and is part of the Alexander Forbes group of companies, one of the largest employee benefit consultancies in the world.
