Incidents

On 23 September 2006, a man, found to have been carrying large quantities of cash and illegal drugs, was arrested when stopped before boarding an aircraft.

On 30 January 2009, a privately owned Diamond DA42 Twin Star aircraft bound for Essex crashed on take off. It ran off the runway and flipped upon hitting a hedge.
