They offer a religious based, co-ed college preparatory program with electives in Technology, Fine Arts, Family and Consumer Science, and Business Education for students in grades 9-12. Founded in 1970, graduating its first class in 1974.

Athletics
Lake Catholic competes in the North Coast League. Member schools include: St. Peter Chanel High School, Elyria Catholic High School, Archbishop Hoban High School, Holy Name High School, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin High School, Padua Franciscan High School, Trinity and Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. The 2007-2008 Cougar Pride Marching Band was the guest band for the 2007 Lake Erie College Storm football team.
