History
The Karnataka State Cricket Association was formerly known as the Mysore Cricket Association. The association was founded during the year 1933 and gained affiliation to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the year 1934. Prof J.C.Rollo, Justice Mr P. Medappa, Capt. T.Murari, Major YVK Murthy and Capt. M.G.Vijayasarathi were instrumental in getting the KSCA affiliated to the BCCI. JC Rollo, an Englishman, was the first president of the Association. . In the 1950s and 1960s, the association was headed by S.A.Srinivasan and M.Chinnswamy. The cricket stadium in Bangalore is named after the M. Chinnaswamy, who was the Hon. Secretary of the association from 1953 to 1978 and remained the president till 1990.

KSCA Stadium Rajnagar, Hubli
A new swanky stadium with more than 50,000 capacity has been inaugurated on 25 October 2009 at Rajnagar, Hubli owned by Karnataka State Cricket Association.Construction of Pavilion, Stands/permanent seating arrangements etc are in full swing. In the next year{when?} or so, we should have one more stadium on par with M.Chinnaswamy stadium in this part of Karnataka which apparently will host ODI and Test matches sooner or later.
Already divisional matches like U-16, U-19 are being hosted here. We'll soon see domestic matches like Ranji Trophy, KPL etc played here.
Efforts are on to build one more international stadium in Manipal
