, consisting primarily of associates and bachelors degrees in mechanical and construction engineering technology, electronic engineering technology, computer systems and web development technology, and airway science in the form of professional pilot and aviation maintenance degrees. The academic programs are centered around a hands-on philosophy that blends theory and application in an effort to prepare students for real-world situations in their field of study.

Approximately 400 undergraduate students are enrolled in the College of Technology and Aviation. The college complies with FAA Part 141 requirements for flight training. Courses of study cover FAR Part 135 operations, airline operations, crew resource management, aviation history, and an aviation safety minor . The KSU-S aviation program competes annually in National Intercollegiate Flying Association
