Kansas Speedway is a speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, adjacent to the Village West area. The speedway is a tri-oval with 15 degree banking in the turns. The track held its first race on June 2, 2001, when the Winston West series contested the Kansas 100. The top-level NASCAR Sprint Cup series holds the annual Camping World RV 400 at the track.

The track held its first race on June 2, 2001, when the Winston West series contested the Kansas 100. The top-level NASCAR Sprint Cup series holds the annual Camping World RV 400 at the track.
Future Plans
Plans are for a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to be built after the state of Kansas approved plans on September 19, 2008. The hotel/casino will overlook turn two and the track will also apply for a second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race no later than 2011 , also the track plans on adding a road course. These plans were later withdrawn citing concerns of the economy.
